POSITION: PhotographerCLASSIFICATION: ExemptREPORTS TO: Director of Brand + Creative MarketingLOCATION: Santa Cruz or Los Angeles, CASalary: $75,000-85,000Key Responsibilities Lead and execute professional photo shoots from concept through to completion, managing all aspects of productionOrganize, manage, and maintain digital assets, ensuring proper filing, archiving, and distributionCapture high-quality product, lifestyle, and flat lay shots for campaigns, product launches, and marketing materialsEdit and retouch images using editing software to enhance images as needed.Ensure consistency across all images; refine Verve's visual voice through images that align with the brand's creative vision and visual standardsMaintain and care for all equipment to ensure optimal performanceSet up, style, and tear down photography sets in a timely and efficient mannerCollaborate with internal teams (marketing, design, product) and external partners to ensure alignment with the brands visual identityUphold visual consistency and quality across all images Create and deliver relevant content for social media platforms as part of the brands content calendarAssist in planning and executing seasonal and promotional photo shootsContinuously evaluate and improve photography techniques and processes for efficiency and creativityEnsure deadlines are met while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detailStay current with trends in photography, lighting, and editing to bring fresh ideas to the brand's imageryQualifications and Requirements2+ years of experience in lifestyle and product photographyProficiency in Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture 1, and basic knowledge of studio lightingAbility to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.A keen eye for detail and a passion for photography: A commitment to producing high-quality work and a drive to continuously improve.Experience in file management, archiving, and organizing digital assetsAbility to effectively communicate with team members, and other stakeholders (both written and verbal)Willingness to receive and offer constructive feedbackProactive mindset, a problem solver with the ability to work independently and a strong attention to detail.Ability to work well in a fast-paced environmentPhysical RequirementsThe following physical demands outline the requirements necessary for employees to effectively carry out the essential functions of this position.
